I am excited to start the 2008-2009 school year and will keep up with our adolescent literature discussions on this space.
We talked about the definition of adolescent literature today in class and answers varied. What is adolescent literature? What isn't? What are common traits to the genre?
From that point, we discussed the overwhelming requirements for this course.
Today I had technical difficulties in each class and come to find out, I was the problem. In the first room I tried to plug my mega flash drive into a port that didn't have enough power, an issue solved by plugging it into the front of the computer. In the second room, I tried to open the CD Drive but the technician informed me the computer was shifted over and the door was hitting the side of the cabinet. I feel my nerves probably took the place of reason.
Several people contacted me today noting that the book stores were out of Books that Don't Bore 'Em. This should surprise me but for some reason doesn't. We will monitor and adjust.
